The drivers are in the CD, but can also benefit from the manufacturer's site for Windows XP / Vista / 7/8 / 8.1 / CE5.0 / CE6.0 / CE7.0, Linux Kernel 2.6.25, Apple Mac OS X 10.6 - 10:10 are related (if newer version of the driver on the manufacturing side as on the CD). From Linux kernel 3.9, the driver is already integrated into the kernel.
Backwards compatible with USB 2.0 (theoretical max. 480Mbit / s) and USB1.0 (theoretically max. 12Mbit / s). Since one home rarely needed a bandwidth of 1 gigabit / s in practice, a USB3.0 port (blue) must be used not necessarily, a USB2.0 does usually also (but then, of course, only the theoretical maximum 480Mbit / s) ,
The operation is very simple: the adapter into an available USB port plug, network cable in, (installing drivers), konfiguieren DHCP / static IP address and you're off.
