When considering the price of the Samsung WB250F and prepared them within their limits (s. Text) to use, there is really nothing to complain about. The camera talking to her operating concept in my opinion, primarily young (and young at heart) the smartphone generation.
In order to facilitate the reader in a hurry, the orientation, I start with the Pros & Cons for Samsung WB250F:
__________________________________________________________________
+ Relatively small and compact
+ Optical Image Stabilizer
+ Full HD video (1920 x 1080 pixels)
+ Touch Screen
+ 18x optical zoom, Focal length: 4 -72 mm (equivalent to 24mm to 430 mm on KB related)
Easy to configure WiFi +
+ Aspect ratio of 3: 2, 4: 3 and 16: 9 adjustable
+ Manual exposure mode, aperture, time and program automatic possible
+/- Class adequate, decent image quality
+/- 14.2 MP resolution a bit too high, the lens does not create, but can reduce
+/- Primarily for technically inexperienced photographer
+/- Printed Quick Start Guide is, but is not very informative. For detailed instructions, there's only as a PDF download
- Panorama function only at low resolution
- Motorized Zoom not very sensitive. The desired focal length setting is a matter of luck
- Photosensitivity Although ISO 100 to 3.200, but significant noise from ISO 400
- While flash folds out (less risk for "red-eye"), but is not very powerful and has uneven illumination

The Samsung WB250F fits comfortably in your hand, the weight is pleasant: not too heavy, but also not so easy to get blurred when triggered. The housing feels dibasic.

Although the camera with its diverse automatic functions rather applies technically inexperienced photographers who just want to come to beautiful images, surprised the WB250F with manual and semi-automatic functions that can be set directly via the mode dial on the top deck. Of file formats only JPEG stands at different image sizes and two compression levels are available.

So a lot of fun here gives me the touch screen. Not only the various menu parameters can be so easy and very comfortable to adjust, and the focus area can be selected directly on the screen with a fingertip precision. And if you want that, but trigger the same!

Another plus point is the WiFi connectivity. Pressing the button on top of the camera is sufficient. Who (preferably a Samsung Galaxy) has smartphone with Android, the camera via a free app can use it.

The most important, the picture quality
Here one must unfortunately make compromises. But to anticipate: To view the photos on a computer monitor, television or for printing up to DIN A-5 camera performance was good enough.
But even at ISO 100, bright sunlight and 100% representation on the calibrated test monitor show up at all focal length settings clearly the weaknesses of small Samsung. Details are faded, acting outshines. It seems as if already engaged by the noise filter. In wide-angle setting, the extreme corners are slightly out of focus, not denying chromatic aberration (color fringing). The same goes for vignetting. For telephoto shots look like pulled through the fabric softener. There clearly is a lack of contrast and detail.

Anyone who wants can also turn full-HD video. The image quality of the movies is, as expected, better than if it holds with a mobile phone.
