Musical eclecticism

Beautiful album highlighting the influence of Gypsy music in both classical music and jazz. We therefore find in these 2 CDs both pieces of Bartók and Kodaly as Weather Report, Bratsch or Youssou N'Dour. No confusion here yet, thanks to the masterly violinist Viktoria Mullova classic (she was a student of Leonid Kogan) who probably inspired by his Ukrainian origin, can give the whole a very fine unit. It is accompanied here by The Matthew Barley together. A disc to keep.
