I have known Guy Delisle more inspired. His tone is always full of freshness and false naivete, but the bias to show Palestine (not Israel) spoil the interest of the Chronicles. Delisle shows perfectly the Palestinian perspective of the conflict (after all, he lives in East Jerusalem during his stay) but apart from one or two times, it hardly meet any Israeli. This is both surprising and damage. The few Israelis that he cites are either extremist settlers or ultra-Orthodox. A he encounters an Israeli caricature during his stay a year? No doubt, but this meeting has not been chronicled within its pages. Too bad.
