There are about ten years, I loved the novels of James Patterson, including his Alex Cross series. And then I got tired, without knowing why ... In late December 2013, I was surprised to receive this new novel in preview (a big thank you to the Archipelago editions); so it is all excited that I attacked reading. The idea is very good, the pace is fast, thanks to a simple text, no descriptions, a lot of dialogue (not bad humor bonus) and short chapters. Unfortunately, this is not enough to make a good novel. The characters are stereotyped without any depth; speeches agreed; there is action and many twists and turns, but it is far from the "breakneck pace" promised by the back cover ... In my opinion, this novel would have made a great TV movie scenario. Too bad that in the end this is a police officer "means". Not unpleasant to read, but not memorable.
