VOIP as it should be

The Fritz! Fon makes a well easily. Is there a new firmware, the device will beep nice and asks to be updated by exactly 3 button clicks. So no problem.
I have it 3 pieces in the office operation.

Voice quality:
Very good!
Parallel depends currently still a sine 500i (or so) and even earlier 2 Panasonic handsets to the FB. The voice quality of the Fritz! Fons is imho the best.

Battery:
I am happy. The handsets keep out of contact with the charging cradle 3-4 days. Where they are not used with us in endless phone calls.
The battery, however, seem to be standard goods at first glance and should be able to be obtained very favorable also from third-party suppliers.

Integration:
Its strengths, the Fritz! Fon but made just as an extension of the Fritz box. Simple configuration of the FB can be changed over the phone. Direct integration of phone books with all the features etc etc etc.
The features such as RSS reader and Radio I do not need and I have not tested. Certainly does, but as with us, a PC is in every workplace, these services run at us on the PC.

Optics and usability:
The devices are amazingly slim and light. The keys have a very good pressure points are well described. Since the transparent keys and the label behind the button is no unsightly signs of wear are to be feared. The menu navigation is very logical and read on the really very good resolution display very well.

Headset:
Here there is a special feature: The FFs have a 3.5mm jack and not as usual for DECT phones a 2.5mm jack. This makes the search for suitable headsets little more complicated. Often you can also use the supplied phone sets.
Tip: When I tried this, I got from interlocutors often the feedback that I was very quiet. The FF has an option to a connected headset to automatically calibrate. After I had the found and used, everything is super. I do not know whether the users who also have problems with headsets and the FF, the function can not be used ... for me it was really a lot of causes.

It's amazingly everything exactly as advertised described. Something has indeed a rarity today.
By Fritz! Fon or the FB caused dropped calls we did not have. In general, our phone calls so take 20-30 minutes.
