As I read through my research often that it (ie non-Apple) would give SSDs often caused problems during installation of "foreign" and even here a few explicitly advise against install an alien SSD in the MacBook Pro, I would like to my approach to describe here briefly. Because for a long story short straight to the point: The installation and the commissioning is absolutely perfect and the successful SSD drive provides an enormous speed advantage. So starts my OS X Lion 10.7.3 in just exactly every 20 seconds and the opening of Photoshop CS5 takes lightning 3.5 seconds. For me, these values are more than convincing.
Before I started with the installation, I have the contents of my original HDD that was installed in the MacBook Pro, once copied to the Carbon Copy Cloner to the new SSD drive. Since I am in possession of a HDD docking station luckily (it comes naturally with a simple external hard drive enclosure), to connect the SSD drive to your MacBook was done quickly. Carbon Copy Cloner makes an attention even to the fact that the original HDD a hidden "Recovery HD" has and asks the user whether it should be copied on the SSD disk. That's certainly worth mentioning because you at any time the operating system without problems and without assistance can re-play then (when the SSD drive is installed) again. So you need not original HDD or installation DVD of Mac OS, but only an Internet connection.
After "cloning" we went to the mechanical work. Namely the replacement of the original HDD through the Crucial m4. Instructions abound on Youtube and the conversion took me less than 10 minutes.
Then I launched the MacBook and was - as expected - welcomed by an absolutely flawless functioning operating system. However, the boot process took almost a minute - so no real SSD reference. Workaround for this "problem" but I found during my research (maybe even here in the reviews, just as I know it is no longer). One should namely OS X simply again play again, which is so easily possible through the acquisition of the Recovery HD by Carbon Copy Cloner. So you start the MacBook while keeping down the ALT key. Then select "Recovery HD" and then "re-install OS X" (this operation has taken me an estimated 35 minutes). After the operating system starts in the above already mentioned 20 seconds. Of course, while preserving all user data and programs previously contained on the disk untouched.
On the subject of "Trim" function for non-Apple SSDs can also read a lot. I decided finally to take the "Trim Enabler" to activate the Trim function and am also here yet totally satisfied.
The performance of the SSD-plate makes just so much fun. The MacBook is fast, like there's no tomorrow - dreamlike.
It is worth noting, incidentally, that in my present latest firmware (0309) was already playing.
I am completely satisfied and would definitely buy the plate again. If there is to be a criticism, it is the very Spartan delivery. In addition to the SSD drive that is only a meaningless quick start guide is included. For the low price you have this but probably just accept.
The few negative reviews on this product I can not understand so far. Judging by various instructions before, the SSD drive works absolutely correct.

EDIT on 11/06/2013:
After a year and three months, I can still say that the Crucial M4 continues to run like a Swiss watch. So far, everything was absolutely top!
Here's a small supplement: It may well be that a new loading of the operating system is not necessary, if the SSD disk newly selects the "Control Panel" in "Startup Disk". When installing an SSD in my Mac Mini which has been enough to speed up the startup of the OS dramatically. So just try it! ;-)
