Now for the smart function. The TV has a number of pre-installed app's, including the new Amazon Instant Video. The blast, the many films are made available free of charge (for prime customers), others only for cash, but what the heck. You look in the TV-newspaper, there are not clever, so why not even go home in cinema. The Quality in SD is good, who wants to see the film more expensive in HD, something will have to pay more, but should keep in mind, only with a fast DSL connection, the film is really viewable in HD because Instant Video recognizes how fast the connection and is sometimes fast on the SD-screen level downgraded after an HD purchase :-(, but you will be made at least point out that it is so.
In general, I am very satisfied with the Amazon Instant Video app as just brand new movies and series the Prime customers are (unfortunately for cash) made available.
Since you have to stop before compromising when current TV series freshly available from the US, only in the original English.
The view settings when movies are just ultra easy: you simply switch to AUTO and the Smart - TV always finds the correct screen size, whether from widescreen movies, or old 4: 3 series. It is similar with the sound selection and before you totally messed up the settings, the SMART Audio uses function that always finds the best possible sound on every TV show.
Eben case TOP looking YouTube video function, the YT videos on a large screen, great!
Connectivity, various HDMI slots, and USB's, gamble for docking external hard drives or for games. Picture quality simply TipTop: clean, high-contrast, ultra-smooth picture !!
Can definitely recommend this LG TV!
