This is the deuxème time I read a novel about the adventures of Commissioner Marcas (I read and loved the ritual shade) and I must say I find it quite well put together. Probably not very realistic, but it is not exactly the goal of this kind of thriller. Clearly, the authors found the recipe to make the "polar Freemason" (soon it will drop perhaps the brand) and I tell myself that if I tried a third, I will perhaps tired of find the same ingredients: a little suspense, some historical getaways and which for me is quite mysterious and fun, even exotic: Masonic consideration. For now, it does not bother me and I live with that very well. So I will try probably "Blood Brothers." I do not say that one can cultivate reading such a novel but it can make people want to learn more about some subjects. I also went to see the alternate ending on the authors site. This is anecdotal and vague business in my opinion. We can be content of the novel. Although I like this novel, I join Zoum in his commentary: the novel can serve as a frame to a screenplay for film.
