I, who have made the Northern Way (Camino del Norte), I do not agree with certain statements ... To give an example, it is said that it is never a concern find a hostel to sleep because there is every 5 or 8 km ... on the Camino Francés yes, but on the Camino del Norte, it is not so: some sections of stages are very poor in Albergues ( hostel for pilgrims), and one must be prepared to sleep outside or afford a hotel room occasionally ...
If you are interested in the Northern Way, all the French pilgrims I met were very satisfied with their guide ... I advise you to buy a Spanish guide if you speak the language (paying attention to this it is up to date!).
