Let me introduce you the first album of Beatsteaks in 1997 - at that time still on the XNO label and not on the Bad-Religion-based punk label Epitaph; and that's where the 48/49 but punkigste plate of guys from the capital is! If you, like me, has only met the last two albums, it is hard to believe that this is the Beatsteaks at 48/49. Who knows Rancid, is an idea whose can make what awaits him on this disc - screaming, shouting, singing and collective Gitarrengedresche. A real treat! Add to that the pleasure of some German lyrics: questions (a song in the style of dialogue), Bad (yelling from the finest guitarist Bernd), barmaid (not really a song, since only 10 seconds) and - last but not least - 48/49, which is sort of a song about the band (in the former occupation with other drummer and bass player): "We'll come from Berlin, aus'nem dark Kelleeer - 48/49 - ejal how it finds det since come wa nu ma ago! "For people who like more harmonious vocals, 48/49 is not suitable, there really is a lot of yelling, but Punk fans, I think, at their expense, especially as very controversial issues are angesungen My recommendation:. fast in 48/49 personal plate inventory record!
