The unit was purchased as a replacement for the HVL FM58 and comes on the Sony A77 and Nex7 used. The necessary adapter remains faithful, but unlocking is a bit fiddly.
The Overheat problem was known, but alternative Flashes comparable performance are little. The Overheat problem comes in continuous flashes very quickly during events; seemingly faster than the previous model; forces to annoying breaks.
