A beautiful philosophy

Tao Te King (Pocket)

Customer Review

The "Tao Te King" is among the finest works of wisdom I could read so far. His wisdom is the millennium, as Lao Tzu would have lived in the sixth century BC. AD!
I never really liked being cited the principle of yin and yang in everything is, and not too want to read this book, however, I wanted to return to the source of this philosophy widespread today. I have not been disappointed!

The wisdom is profound, and much more subtle and nuanced as you might imagine. In the form of a poem, a speech by Lao Tzu, there is profound reflections about the universe, about the divinity, on humans in different aspects.

I quote a few examples:

- Page 14: "Do not boast much the men of merit so that the people do not argue Do not consider the desired treasure for the people do not steal Do not exhibited bringing the urge for her.. soul is not disturbed. "

- Page 29: "Who knows the constant blindly creates his misfortune Who knows the constant will be tolerant tolerant Who's Who is disinterested disinterested royal Who will be royal heavenly....."

- Page 33: "Abandoning the study is to issue worries Because what differ yes and no What is the difference right and wrong must fear this study that men fear because any study is endless.?.

- Page 36: "..... Who will remain around bends Who bows will be adjusted Who stands will be filled hollow Who suffers wear Who will renew few kisses will acquire certain knowledge Who embraces many fall into doubt."

- Page 55: "Who wants to lower someone must first grow the Who wants to weaken someone should first strengthen the Who wants to remove someone must first exalt Who wants to replace someone... one must first make concessions. This is the subtle vision of the world. "

I hope these quotes will make you want to buy and read this book! You may appreciate his wisdom!
