Beautiful writing than Jaworski, chosen words, rich vocabulary, correct, complete and complex descriptions, and the characters have a true thickness (that is still the least that after 980 pages!). The plot is certainly rich, but not overflowing with originality or suspense in my opinion, is what prevents me from putting the fifth star. Moreover, as I read above: why, indeed, load Don Benvenuto this initial blow of dagger, without which ....? Re-also, in my humble opinion, those who expect the fantasy will be a little disappointed: it is completely in the world of cities "Italian" Renaissance with very few passages just fantastic. This does not detract from the quality of the work, but I think it necessary to mention it.
