I would not advise to its predecessor Rondostat HR 25. Against the HR 30 Comfort it acts clunky and the menu operation and battery change are not designed with comfort. Also only 2 temperature input options are not enough, if you want to store more than just a simple night off. For me, the live use of clear HR won 30 Comfort and indeed by far. The HR30 has so many different programming options that you can cover every eventuality and adjust the thermostat to your own, individual needs. Operation is simple, the installation (in my case without adapter) was in 1 min. easily completed. Just turn up, ready. Without great efforts to the manual. (My radiator 14 years old: Kermi radiators, Thermostats Oventrop I have no deeper knowledge in plumbing and Co.).
Sleepingroom / volume:
We use the thermostats by the way also in the bedroom. The motors are audible when you turn another valve position, but we feel the volume as acceptable. WE, ie to 36 Years Male + 36 years Female + 4 years down the road are male ... The up / or spinnig happens only sometimes and only briefly. Was the radiator completely turned off at night and setting the thermostat then turns on a programmed time the valve completely on, the process takes about 10 sec. Otherwise, much shorter. If you want to compare the volume, it is a little quieter than eg the faint rattle when accessing a hard drive. But who has even the faint sound banished from the bedroom, be forewarned here!

I have now each radiator with the HR equipped 30. This is rather expensive at 15 radiators, but since we have a large house, in which the control of the heater is literally cluttered with many rooms - times used often - times untapped, the potential savings is also very high.
