Beneficial different and yet the old Plant

Normally, yes, a new CD is announced always long. This surprised me - in both senses. I had the suspicion that Robert Plant has withdrawn on's old part and only sporadically with Jimmy Page secretes vital signs. But far from it. Since he has been "secretly" in the studio and re-made music. After the depths of Honeydrippers and the old Led Zeppelin bonds of Manic Nirvana, he had created his niche as a soloist with Fate Of Nations, a great rock album. With No Quarter, he has proved that he manages to play, to transfer the grandiose Zep-pieces in the present time and to enrich the same with exotic sounds. Walking Into Clarksdale sounded so how Led Zeppelin might imagine today.
Now Dreamland: Simply class. Relatively quiet, because it lacks the usual rock blast, which the plant but does not diminish. The cover versions are contained in such a distorted, that you can hardly recognize the originals - but how, this is awesome. It is the work of a seasoned musician who must prove anyone, that he is one of the most magical rock singer in history. Yet it is not just an album with you just once brings back memories, or Joe Cocker sinks into the swamp of Dudelradio-Seichtpop, but really good. It is the most mature performance that Robert Plant has been delivered, and that I would have him - honestly - not credited. And the best argument for the quality to be expected that the "format radio" will ignore this CD. So buy that CD is really good !!
