The soundtrack to Daniel Craig's 007 debut has something that it negatively differs from all other Bond scores - The title track is missing !!!! The reason, however, is very simple. Chris Cornell, who has a really excellent Bond song that perfectly matches the style of the film written by "You Know My Name", among said at the time that it is published as part of the soundtrack, because he so dear in his own new album wanted to do. So you only have David Arnold's music. These sending you can think positively about John Barry here and there. Even Arnold masters it consistently well, that the Bond Theme does not occur in the film itself. There are great action-packed tracks like the first "African Rundown" or fourth "Blunt Instrument". In the latter Arnold is very clear direction style of Bond Theme, but to leave without giving it truly resound. The music is consistently well done and very end even get what you want to hear - the Bond Theme. Arnold has chosen an orchestration here, but reminiscent of early Bond films, it also still anchored at the present time. But up to this last piece provides the score everything from Action on excitement, drama, romance, and sometimes nostalgia. As Barry fan you will hear here one way or another tribute when Arnold, Barry often did, for example, uses trombones. Overall, this is - despite the lack of theme song - for me the best Bond score of Arnold after of "Tomorrow never dies".
