However, these 3-CD box is totally unnecessary and absurd. It includes the 1992er Best of album GOLD (CD1) and the 1993 sequel album More Gold (CD 2) in a box, added a third CD with all the B-sides of singles that time. For the hardcore fan this box contains absolutely nothing new, for the newcomers ignored despite handsome 3 CDs still several significant ABBA singles / hits like the ever popular New Year's anthem "Happy New Year", the first-ever joint ABBA single, "People Need Love" and their two follow-up singles "He is your brother" and "Love Is not Easy".
That ABBA had more hits than true fit on a single CD that "ABBA Gold" as a single-CD has always been an incomplete career overview, is also correct. But even "ABBA Gold" and "More ABBA Gold" together yet mentioned above do not include 4 singles, I recommend to be the perfect compiled 2012er ABBA double CD The Essential Collection (which is still considerably lower price further than this box here) or ten years older The Definitive Collection. Both double-CDs include in chronological order all ABBA singles who ever appeared in the UK, USA, Germany and Sweden thus actually Video- everything is meant by a complete Hitsammlung a group.
Since the "Essential Collection" and "Definitive Collection" are really perfect and still commercially available, is actually every new ABBA compilation totally unnecessary, except it contained for the fans really previously unreleased songs. Since you would rather have to hang up the two aforementioned double CDs and apply new media with a TV campaign.
