I use the Zen now for exactly 2 months and I AMCH it short un painless:
The Palyer convinced with the super good sound quality. I got it directly compared with the iPod my buddy and the quality is really noticeably better. Moreover, is halt the display really pretty. Maintenance good size and also here super quality. With the best is meienr opinion, the media library without any chance would be guaranteed at management and Overview. Also very nice, I think the fact that you can create the menu itself. By default, there are many features which one I think almost never uses (eg Dj function under the musical point) or options that you frequently adjust or functions you on that one often accesses (playlists, alarm clock). On the one hand there are eien shortcut key, which you can assign any menu item and, moreover, as I said you pick the menu items themselves.
Now for the less good things: In the beginning the player is exaggerated often crashed. Mostly when I connected it to foreign PCs. Without the effect of foreign PCs he crashes actually hardly ever off (about 1/2 times within 2 months). By the fall, there is the problem that you just can not restart as the player, because this kleien reset knobs must be pushed inside the housing. On the go you usually keien paperclip or other case ... it is accordingly corrosive if it should then fall times, but as the egsagt happens only if you connect it to external PCs. Today I noticed the next thing on the bugging me: If I set the alarm clock can I choose: I'll let me wake from Radio or from any arbitrary title by all players (!). This does not mean that I choose this title, no, the title of the player chooses then itself. With 8GB of memory drift certainly imemr a few songs on DME Player rum, which I do not want to be woken up in the morning ?! This connected the next downside: If then the player starts and plays a song and I like this (is indeed sometimes that you do not know every song on the player - albums, etc.), and I want to know what there is now running the Unfortunately not. The player is active alarm or so and I can not see what song is currently running.
Anaonsten me think of anything just ... as I said, the counterpoints are minor and the pro-arguments predominate quite clearly!
Conclusion: Top players, but God knows not perfect;) Definitely a best buy because the price-performance ratio is really very good.
