Super Displayfolie but not immediately

I have ordered the film on Thursday 10 October and had on Saturday 12 October in the mailbox. So far so good. Before gluing, I once placed so the delivered foil on the display of my Canon 70D. Unfortunately, I realized that the film ca.4mm too narrow but was it about 2mm too high (approx! Because I have this measured with a ruler).
When applying I had taped over the frame of the screen in height and have the right and the left (if this would be the centrally mounted) would be a part of the display without foil. On the pull tab of the film, the name Canon EOS D7 was to read. The accompanying statement was 70 D. So I ordered correctly. I will write to the company time and questions whether this now was just an oversight or if the film of the 7D is also provided for the 70 D .... I will report.

Addendum of 10/18/2013:

I sat down with the seller and described my concerns. Allen seems the wrong film was seized. Instead of just 70 D 7 D - can happen, yes. I then delivered an immediate replacement film get (arrived today). So once checked whether this time the correct film was sent. It was the right one. The sheet set consists of 4 films. X 2 for the rear display and 2 x for the display on the top. The displays are not affected by the film. Does not bother.

Unfortunately, I could not leave the film on the back of the display because the film a touch (so really minimal - a fraction of a mm) was too wide. The display is of a frame enclosed is not flush with the display. The small edge and the fact that the film was just a touch too wide, were both films (I was hoping that one of the two is slightly narrower). On a side not on the display but on the frame So there was an air pocket was not to get away. A film that does not fit is not to be used to this display. Perhaps it lie yes to the manufacturing tolerances of the films or the display. The display of the top, the film was fine with no problems. It is there to almost not see that was attached a sheet. Addendum of 30/10/2013

I have the manufacturer informs that does not fit the film. This has tested reacts immediately and adapted the film accordingly. The now been sent film fit on the display of the Canon 70D and this affected in any way. The film can not be seen and the Super display shows the colors unadulterated - really a great film.
