TrekStor eBook Reader 3.0 Conveniently for e-reading beginners

I have the TrekStor eBook Reader 3.0 bought in a bookstore at the price of 59.99 as a replacement for my laptop, which I used to use late at night in bed as a book replacement.
And there's even the word "habit"; Past tense ... because I really only reading the Trekstor device !!

I knew about the existence of Amazon's own device, but wanted a reader:
- Can process as many formats (as is the TrekStor, similar to one that knows of the cheap DVD players, almost unbeatable)
- Own lighting has (if I want to read in bed at night, then some light has since been after them; the e-ink history I can not abgewinnen much color can for example not at all)
- Sometimes can display images (I photograph a lot and because it makes sense, if you visit with holiday images "harass" wants the small and handy TrekStor device instead of laptops rauszukramen.)
- First is cheap! Do I know whether I ever attracted reading so nem dwarf permanently?

What can he have? Play music! Again, a lot of formats: .wav, .mp3, .ogg, .wma

Good and bad!

Good:
- PDF to / -kleinern reformatted when enlarge; So not a simple "push" of the screen! Newline is reset!
- Small (except for the 7 "display, which is quite good), handy and optical quality; touch due to the surface, also very nice to!
- 2GB Memory, expandable to 32GB. Since hats space for sooo many books! ... Or pictures! ... Or music! (The many other eBook reader can? ;-)
- Tilt sensor! Really !! For books not essential (can be disabled), but for images ists genial !! Portrait image? Turn No problem, unit and the picture reappears Display Frame!
- TFT display, ie backlight, so even in the dark without reading lamp usable! The display brightness can be regulated, that later something else.
- Sound of music playback is - in my opinion - good! Ok, I did not even use the supplied bud Headphones (with the things I could never start something!), But have connected my Sennheiser HD555 ollen.
- Super fast-growing when the on / off button is pressed only briefly after the last use! (Blowing when then also the place that had been achieved during off)

Bad:
- Really nothing!

Needs improvement:
- The display brightness is also at the lowest level a little light (for "In-dark-reading").
- The keys are not illuminated. If I had read in the dark, even the key should be thrown in a lighting ... ;-)
- Again the key: the pressure points are partially wahrnembar. Too Bad ...
- File handling is annoying, but not really bad. You have to wade through several submenus each time. But it's also a simple reader, if I plan extensive file operations, I take the same "Schleppi" (my shorthand for "laptop": a "lug")

To display brightness a few comments: often the readability is criticized in tests. I do not understand! Who can not read the characters on the display, should seek Optometrists his choice. I can set different letter sizes with the device. I cant display the extent that - due to TFT - readability goes into the cellar, the tilt sensor switches the display to eh. And let's face it: why I want to want to look at the display from a 45 ° or even nearly 90 degrees yet ?? A book I'm reading indeed more "frontal", right?

Read in bright sunlight? Go !! The sun screen at some point so that it seems to me in the eye - very dull - Of course, this reflects. But again: Who would do something voluntarily? But probably only "testers", right?
I'd like to see this tester, if they try to detect under the glass pane of a EiPäd at Woller sunlight anything! ;-)

For battery life, which is so often criticized, I can not say much. With me is the moment at about 5-6 hours. In the evening read, lunch time just to the charger (I use the charger to my e-cigarette) depend, and happy you are with the more ;-)

Meanwhile, I have found that the Prestigio PER3172B eBook reader in principle is the same device with other firmware.
And here's the kicker: the Prestigio can not only act eBooks, but also music, photos and ... aaand .... files whose extension looks like this: MPEG-1, MPEG-2, MPEG-4 (Xvid) Divx, H.263, H.264, RM / RMVB, MKV, MOV, VOB, FLV ........... target hot movies!

The two units are identical, so you could just install the firmware of the device better on the trek gates ...

Again, how many e-book reader can act so many formats? N / A ??

Another thing to battery life: with pure read operation I am now at about 9 hours.
