Unfortunately, the display is broken on my BeBook now, a fall of about 1.50 m on tiles probably holds no Reader. Since the Dutch company, which has sold in Europe, bankruptcy, there is no new equipment to buy more. Now that I've set myself a while with other readers apart and always found something that does not fit me, I decided to buy me a used BeBook One, because I am convinced that it is still the best reader, which is available on the market.
And no, I'm not nostalgic. I have an iPhone, an iPad, the daily work a Surface Pro, etc. But read on these devices is simply permanently hard on the eyes.
And what other eBook Reader As: When my Kindle library is gone if I cancel my account when I am tied to Kobo Kobo format and would mean more than 3000 books only once reformat. And with the other readers also missing ever any format whether the .doc now .lit, .mobi, or whatever.
I can not say that I have the BeBook One used a great deal in the 4 years. I read an average of 1 daily. It also held at the end of the battery still good and long enough and otherwise the BeBook has poses no problems in time. In the beginning there was sometimes crashes, which had, however, done after a firmware update in 2010. Ever been offered regular updates, so that newer formats could be read on the page mybebook.com. The only drawback was that the most frequently used keys (the two to scroll down) Scripture was no longer present.
