I ordered this mini-compressor in January 2013, to inflate the wheels of cars, bicycles, and wheelchairs: the double possibility of mains connection / cigarette lighter, and the maximum pressure (11 bar) are interesting, and probably rare -for my part, I have not found another. For several months, the water heater has very properly, even if the tip is sometimes difficult to remove the valve, causing a loss of pressure, and the unit is a bit noisy-but this is not crippling ... Then gradually, the digital display began to deteriorate, to the point that within a year, it has become virtually unusable! Access to the service sounds complicated: despite two attempts to contact by email the SAV Servitech site of Décines (Lyon), I did not get answers to questions. (Corrigendum: A few days later, I received a phone call Servitech, telling me that they had contacted Black & Decker, and that this article is not repaired, but traded; they communicated me the No. Direct Phone Black & Decker the same time.) Finally, I think I found the solution by myself: it seems that the offending digital display is powered by a battery, even when the unit is plugged in, if said battery is discharged -which inevitably happens when the one uses the inflator only occasionally, the display gradually becomes illegible; the solution is does it seem to leave the unit in charge for a few hours, I did successfully. It's simple, but that does not happen by itself, especially since unless I am mistaken, all this is not indicated in the instructions; and it does not necessarily suppose, when the inflator is plugged in, it needs to complement an internal battery charged to normally display the indications! In short: an interesting device, but could do better in terms of information and service center
