Hello Well balanced, it is ESSENTIAL that the chain sharp, otherwise there is a lot of vibration which tends to bring the guides to the machine. Chain tension is done by rotating the rear control dial (red) that moves a metal rod which pushes the guide. The hook pushes guide is short and does not exceed the thickness of the guide, making it necessary to tighten + that reason the first wheel that sets both the guide and the protective plastic plate ... I have fears when the reliability in time especially if you cut a lot of wood dry and hard oak type. The chain lubrication system seems to pass through the cutting guide, which requires the dismantling for frequent cleaning (see the wear of the fastening system). The hand guard (left) is too close to the cove of maintaining the machine. The engine seems powerful enough to perform sustained work, I could intersect stem halves (about 40cm thickness) without blocking problem or engine trouble, you have (almost) let the machine work alone. I would recommend this machine for those who want rather intersect a dozen cubic meters of firewood per year, but not for slaughter. At that price do not expect miracles (consumer society requires).
