Not later than the intro of opener "Give life back to music" I knew why. Genial similar to the intro of "Thriller" or Prince "1999". From then on, you know what to expect from Daft Punk themselves.

For me, the album of the year, perhaps the best album I've ever heard. Overly you think? By no means.
Everything fits together, each tone. What musicians! John "JR" Robinson and Omar Hakim on drummers, Paul Jackson Jr. and Nile Rodgers on guitar, Nathan East on bass. These are not some people, these are the best who ever played these instruments in the 70s and 80s. What a sound! What tunes!
My favorite Sound "Beyond". The hi-hat by Omar Hakim and Synthieloop end are godlike.
