As a sound source is a Raspberry Pi (Shairport / Airplay) and on which hangs on "Belkin RockStar 5-way ratchet distributor" once the 5.1 system (Onkyo 308) and the transmitter of this radio sets.
On the Raspberry is selectively streamed from mobile devices or from a Synology via Airplay.
And what can I say, I now keep both sets since I last night was something of flashed that everything works as I had imagined ....
In the kitchen, a stereo pair is used, bathroom and hallway each one LS as monotherapy and in the living room, the 5.1 system.
All LS run synchronously (definitely no noticeable delay) and the performance of the LS is also OK for the price.
The remote control makes for easy control of the boxes (even if you order can only switch to standby the LS and not)
Current measurement for the transmitter and receiver, I'll tackle the weekend.
Transmitter is probably switched on future wireless socket and the receiver directly on LS.
Sooner or later, a pair will be purchased for crafting.
Unfortunately, I can not understand why this transmitter and receiver technology is not simply packed into a potent 3-way speaker to rock in all Freqenzbereichen.
When I think of what a household has spent money for their Sonos system .. and the functionality is provided with this set as well.
The performance is of course not a Play: 3 and no comparable app also not so kompfortabel ...
But with a little extension (Raspberry Pi AirPlay or Synology NAS with DS audio) can also be the app functionality upgrade.
But if it is only important to distribute MULTIROOM Music -> strong buy recommendation .. that works great ..
