About two months later, the unit was repaired and 1x 1x exchanged! The reason: Excessive Clouding, input lag and a faulty True Motion (LG's 100Hz technology, which unfortunately so literally tears the picture in explosions, fast pans in artifacts).
So Thus, I stood in front of the decision and it almost should be a Sharp, but unfortunately he had the misfortune to stand next to a just newly arrived and to an incredible 1049 (the media market) reduced 40HX755.
On the sheet that has actually a step backwards (Shutter instead Passive 3D 2 "less; no 3D glasses), why the Sony but almost anything is better you learn here: In the very first test of the Sony Bravia 40HX755!

CONSTRUCTION
---------------------------
The TV is sold in a large, ordinary cardboard and is very light. Immediately after unpacking the great stand is striking at the very easily can screw the TV mount.
To make the TV now on this bracket firmly recommends the Sony TV mount immediately to the existing screws and tighten. Personally, I carefully placed the TV with the screen down on my soft bed and let him on the edge to survive something to fix the holder because I was afraid the TV may fall after hanging forward.
Basically, the structure designed but very easy and is done in 15 minutes.
5/5 stars

Design / Processing
---------------------------
Here Sony has definitely proved a good hand, because the TV integrates perfectly with its mix of aluminum and black piano finish in any living room. The base, which consists only of a massive steel tube in silver, the whole is still in the crown. The processing is almost without blemish:
The panel is perfectly within the scope (at LG was the first repair base), although the aluminum edge creaks a bit, but on the whole, well made, and also on the back, the hard plastic case no blunder on.
So must look processing at this price!

2D image
---------------------------
Probably the most important thing in a television! The Sony displays sharp, rich colors and impresses with impeccable sharpness.
Sony's own motion compensation "Motionflow" also shows sharp images even with the fastest motions. Occasional, minimal stuttering (only with SD material with Motionflow to standard) not tarnish the viewing experience at all.
Unfortunately, one must say that the Sony has a big problem with its Edge-LED lighting, because in every corner of the lighting seems small, but clearly (unfortunately somewhat more below).
Apart from the flashlights of the 40HX755 is but a perfect black definitely still without Clouding!
How does that change over time, however, remains to be seen.
At any rate, the "Automatic light control" when you activate the "high" Sorry, no effect,
Reasonable contrast, proposes the viewing angle dependency, because no matter how far to the side you stand, the colors remain constant crisp and the black level changes only minimally into the blue.
The preparation of SD material manages the Sony extremely good!
Blu-Rays were so far not been tested, however, because I only own the TV since Thursday the 22.03.2012.
However, that is rescheduled and grudge here.
The HD channels saw but from already terrific!
All in all, I am currently satisfied, even if the lighting could be better!
4/5 stars, because the Flash Lights in the corners!
Addendum on 31/03/2012:
Meanwhile, the Sony has been running for more than a week in high gear and carries out his work is still very good.
The Flashlights were indeed to examine not less, but I now had the opportunity sometimes Blu-Rays.
This reflects the high price of Sony:
The picture is just incredible! Even at a distance of 1m, the image is still sharp crack and the 24p stability is quite high.
Thus, the Sony provides a very good job here.
Nevertheless, there is no appreciation, because Flashlights have not changed (felt they have even become stronger and Clouding is now also guessable

3D Image
---------------------------
Addendum on 20/05/2012:
Good 2 months after purchase of the Sony TV's I have but then again indulged 2 3D glasses, the beat with 59.99 (Media Markt, white copy) to book.
The TV is still like a 1, but I have now Clouding on Samsung-level.
But does not matter because the habit and the strong sunlight in my room making the Clouding "harmless".
But now the 3D effect:
At first I was highly skeptical, but 3D on the Sony HX755 is really a (more expensive) pleasure.
Has been tested with Sony's test material in Sony Entertainment Network, with a 3D Blu-Ray (Tron: Legazy) and COD: Black Ops.
What is in my introduction, I am so polarizing 3D usual and was also quite happy with, but the 3D sets here yet again one step on it.
The sharpness is excellent and clear as the 2D image.
Although the colors get a slight yellow tinge (due to the shutter glasses), but this can easily be scaled down by a regulation of the colors.
When it comes to the Sony HX755 darkening does not disappoint, because even with indirect Sonneineinstrahlung (from the right) can be a day to enjoy the 3D image. Although then disturbs the very easily observable Geflimmere, but this is negligible and who wants to have theater experience, which darkens the room anyway from.
Another plus point is the almost complete absence of ghosting or ghosting and also the pop-outs are managed (Tron, discus duel), but unfortunately not as fascinating as in the cinema, but rather the 42 inches is about debt, as a bad 3D mode.
But there is also a strong point of criticism for 3D:
Hardly one switches to 3D mode, so the picture gets clear but stuttering.
Also Motionflow supplies here in any setting improvement.
Basically, we know not know exactly where this comes bucking, but it seems as though the Sony a bit overwhelmed by the 3D playback (there is of course the hope for an early software update by Sony).
Thankfully help here the "Film Mode". In "Auto. 1" it eliminates the coarsest image disturbances and allows a comfortable 3D image that I like a little better than the LG's LW4500.
Due to the law but otherwise faultless 3D playback there from me 4/5 stars
PS: The Sony glasses are very comfortable to wear and can be charged via USB on Sony.
The USB cable is included, of course, and here are the black copies at Amazon downright cheap (found here:)

Equipment
---------------------------
Priced at 1049, it may not be so hard to be at least one shaped frame 3D glasses !!
Apart from this disappointment, the decor of the middle class TV can also quite impressive:
Triple tuner with Aufnahemfunktion, Wi-Fi and Smart TV, 2xUSB, 4xHDMI, Bravia Sync, 2D to 3D conversion, Eco-sensor, built-in 3D transmitter.
Here leaves Sony nothing to be desired.
4/5 star, due to lack of glasses.
---------------------------
Clay
---------------------------
Here is revealed the biggest weakness! Of course, fit into such a slim case (the Sony is however thicker than comparable devices from Samsung and co.) No Sourroud system, but what give the speakers from already almost unbearable and can be compared with 20 outdoor speakers for iPod by Logitech.
1/5 stars
---------------------------
Gaming
---------------------------
Sony and gaming, these two concepts are actually inseparable, because the input lag is virtually non-existent, even with all Bildverbesserern "On".
Here you really Stoppers at only its Playstation 3 or XBox and its can gamble relaxed.
Anyone who wants can even control his Playstation with the TV remote control, provided you have the Slim version, because (unfortunately) with which it is possible the feature "Bravia Sync" to take advantage of the course with Sony Blu-ray players or home theater systems also works.
5/5 stars for absolutely compelling gaming performance!

// // Conclusion
---------------------------
Why Edge LED is still so popular I can not understand though, but the Sony delivers the best picture I have ever seen.
Although me disturb Flashlights but clodudingfreie plasma coming for me, because of the high power consumption and the faint image, simply out of the question, let alone in this great image.
While filmmakers are now shaking your head, but the image of Sony TV's is simply close to perfect.
The picture is quiet, as in plasma, the glass panel is largely non-reflective and the power consumption is due to LED's (Oh, I've yet discovered an advantage;! D) rather low.
On the whole, this is the TV so for now about 960, although not absolutely cheap, but it offers much more.
In particular, the features and excite the image.
Improvement applies solely to the Clouding / Flash Lights and significantly choppy geratenen 3D mode!
Thus, there is of me 4/5 stars in the standings and a buy recommendation!
