Positive:
- Very good workmanship of the camera, also on the first impression, better than the entry-level models of Sony / Canon.
- Is surprisingly well in hand despite their small size. Sure, right optimally were the 5D and the E-3), but compared with the also small E-420, the NX10 is better (my) hand.
- The operation is very simple. Compared to other cameras (see above) is the Menu very clear (there are not so many functions available, s. Below), you will find yourself quite at home if you have ever been photographed with a D-SLR.
- The autofocus works quite quickly after my Enpfinden, it also has a very convenient adjustment option to move the focus point and the zoom range. When manually focusing the targeted area is enlarged automatically, thus facilitating the setting.
- Well, the picture quality: On the E-3 I had Pro lenses and to the 5D a L-optics ... And here the standard lens will cost about 100, -. Especially for 5D there are large differences). However, I am very satisfied with the performance of the NX10, it do good pictures that definitely above the level of compact cameras (for comparison I once mju9000 and WB500) lie.
- The front lens rotates with none of the currently available lenses, so you can screw on each filter (eg polarizing filter).
- For movies, I can not say much, I hardly use. The autofocus works as well as the films, since the last firmware update.
- The main display is also very good, beautiful rich color, high resolution. Also the electronic viewfinder like that.
- Everything is "Made in Korea"), anything with "... China".
Non-positive:
- The processing of the kit lens is not optimal, because I know better (or Canon L Olympus Pro). The standard lenses from Olympus I would rate as something better. However, the two other NX lenses better (30mm 2.0 and 50-200mm 4.0-5.6).
- Personally, I would be an image stabilizer in the housing rather than him mitzukaufen with any lens.
- You can control the built-in flash No External flash units, which indeed eg Olympus goes.
- There is also no way to connect an external microphone (for me but not really bad, because I hardly movies)
- In Burst mode with full triggering it creates only 3 frames / second. (1.4 MP go well 30)
- You can indeed adjust the flash intensity, a (auto) flash bracketing but is not possible.
My Conclusion:
Overall, a very good camera (for its class), with which one can take good pictures.
If you do not necessarily for all possible situations special lenses / wants or would flash unleashed (for there are at Samsung (yet) suitable accessories), I can only recommend this camera.
