Here is my review of the headset, in test 3 different

I'm looking for a new headset, because my old Tritton not 100% compatible with the PS4's (voice chat in both directions in a very low and echoing).
I play mostly FPS like Call of Duty, or now then Destiny, which it very counts the spatial positioning of opposing steps and a clear understanding with the team members.
Comfort for hours is also very important, because I'm wearing glasses.
The cable stuff I was going like, which is why I'm looking for COMPLETE Wireless PS4.

I have carried out a direct comparison of total 3 headsets within a week, which would:
1) Sony Wireless Stereo Headset 2.0
(The seller Beauty offers sent contrary to the product image, the US variant, called
Sony Wireless Headset Gold, which is identical to the 2.0).
2) Sony PULSE Wireless Stereo Headset Elite Edition
3) Tritton AX Pro Gaming Universal, Wired, with real 5.1 surround

Since the Tritton AX Pro is not 100% compatible with the PS4, but serves as my Refferenz, I have a direct comparison to the PS3 fat (first generation) carried out, so that all 3 headsets are fully compatible.

I made the comparison with CoD MW3, best suited here was the Map lockdown because the opponent could be heard well run on the wooden floors in the buildings.
Other maps are well suited for it. But now matter.

My personal hit list, after 1 week direct comparison:
Place 1) Tritton AX Pro (2011 at Amazon 179.85)
Place 2) PULSE Sony Wireless Stereo Headset Elite Edition (Amazon offer 99.96)
Place 3) Sony Wireless Stereo Headset 2.0 (Amazon 85,09)

Reasons for my personal hit list:
Only with the Tritton I could pinpoint at Lockdown, whether the enemy on the floor above me, now runs right in front of me, right behind me, or to my right.
The Wireless 2.0 was here, even with the different modes, the least convincing.
The Pulse is between it, but not perfect. The shooter modes and Game are best for location.

The PULSE of bass impact is with me always off because it sounds fine, as steps drowned quickly.
For music or movies might be quite useful, or games that do not require the spatial localization.
Battery life is not too much better (so 4-5 hours would be about it).
The 2.0 lasts longer.
Battery life of the Sony's are so similar as in other reviews.

Comfort is really great with all 3 headset. That the bow presses on the head up sometime, I think is normal and comes with all headsets sometime, said Sony 2.0 is here somewhat better.
Voice Chat is super clear in all 3, in both directions, of course you have the sometimes annoying micro at the Tritton at the mouth.

What bothers me personally at both Sony's own voice can not really hear well.
You can adjust the volume thereof at two, but also max. I hear myself / ambient noise in the living room not really good
(Hold MUTE until "beep" and then Vol + -.).
For me quite important because I hardly hear my apartment doorbell, or my phone not, or possibly and begin screaming that. Well, my partner will hopefully halt to me because

The Sony PULSE it will be well with me because I need a new one for PS4, but do not want 300 to spend on the Astro A50.
If I'm really serious lack the spatial localization on time, I'll probably go back to a wired headset. The Tritton Pro + 5.1 is quite praised in PS Forum and has also re real 5.1.

All I can say from my experience that the real 5.1 (Wired), the virtual 5.1 or 7.1 wireless systems is clearly superior. Although I would not declare the law as now, because it involves serious price differences and wired to wireless I also think always has an advantage.
I would be a high-quality Virtual 5.1 Wireless Headset be interested to know, but as the choice for PS4 is compatible quite thin. The Astro A50 is clear to me too expensive with 300 and Turtle Beach are currently ALL NOT completely wireless.
The Creative Sound Blaster Recon 3D, and 3D Tactic lie with the pads on the ears, not the ears, which does not go with glasses regarding comfort.

Conclusion: Value for money at the Pulse beat, but who extremely emphasizes the spatial localization, should resort to higher quality.

The Wireless 2.0 here, I can not really convincing, apart from the higher battery life and the slightly smaller USB dongle.
