Some defects

Unfortunately, Metabo is no longer what it once was. The unit was well packed in Styrofoam and had to be assembled in part by Instructions. Having just renovating the flat came the machine when cutting the skirting boards the same are used. First, I noticed that the laser line in broad daylight (I was working in the yard) could not be seen. It was evening, the bar was visible. This, however, only with wider workpieces. In my baseboards that did not work either. Another criticism concerns the additional profile on the left workpiece stop. It can only be inserted on the left side in a groove and for cutting baseboards indispensable. Unfortunately, there is no profile for the right side. Therefore, one can not make angle cuts where the baseboard toward the right side. In addition, the auxiliary profile can not be found, because the locking screw is too short. Unfortunately, I must also report that these set screws apparently have poor quality with molded plastic toggle. Because with a screw to the Kuststoff has been replaced and this turns into an ordinary screw. Another point of criticism is the dust bag. At the Crab is a fairly large opening so that there also some blown out again sawdust, or does not even come into it. From the imprecise angle scale on the turntable should not be confused. Nevertheless the catches comply with the correct angles. The device is useful. I had, however, better quality and a more elaborate construction expected especially since I am very satisfied with my other devices Metabo.
