The battery charges relatively quickly. The charge function is indicated by a red LED in the cable. Once the battery is full, the LED in the typical Xbox One lit white. Both the cable and the battery block for me as a layman looks very robust and high quality. The durability of the batteries I am very satisfied so far. Unfortunately, that was in the original 360 battery is not always the case - at least the battery very quickly gave up his spirit. So far, it is not felt much of the battery at the current controller generation. He holds and holds and holds. I must here mention that it is still too early for a long-term judgment however.
As already mentioned, the charging cable eigenet also perform updates on the controller. This also works without problems. Both in a controller with battery as well as a controller with batteries. So it was no problem to connect the charging cable with a controller, which is battery powered. The cable does not light as during the charging function (thank goodness) but simply appears only the connection between the console and controller to serve to perform the necessary updates. For this reason alone, it is perhaps not so bad once to have such a set using the appropriate cable. Whether the battery in the long term when compared to batteries (sure he will) or burlap and batteries (certainly questionable) worth, everyone must decide for themselves. Anyway, I'm very satisfied so far.
