Quite honestly, I do not recommend this product. Unlike other reviews, mine seems to indicate roughly the north, provided to be patient, to allow time for the needle to stabilize and to tap a little to help. But I think I got lucky, when we see the "quality" of manufacture of this compass. This is made in China, shipped from Hong Kong, in general, and in a very long time, and it's really crap. For once, I did not read the customer reviews before ordering, which was a mistake. For a few euros more, I think it's better order another, for example sold by Amazon.
