I already said that Driveclub, which was designed for this wheel, is excellent with. Conversely, without this wheel, Driveclub has no interest for me (which may explain some of the bad reviews: the joystick to play this game makes no sense ...). With T300RS, printing line is excellent, particularly thanks to the resistance of the steering wheel that transcribes perfectly wheel adhesion, allowing dosing acceleration when cornering and driving is "realistic" even though it is an arcade game. By choosing the most common cars (Renault, Volkswagen ...) include its brands and really like driving. During impacts (vehicles, runway edge) we feel the shocks in the steering wheel is very well made.
In short, the force feedback mechanism is realistic and quiet. Despite a slightly smaller steering wheel (28 cm) and a debatable matter (gum), the handling is nice. We get lost a bit with blades that rotate with the steering wheel, but with a little practice it's not too serious. The pedal is itself pretty average; it is especially a problem for the brake pedal is too soft and whose race is not realistic.
BUT manufacturing is weak on some points, which is innaceptable on a product of this range:
- The D-Pad button stuck after several repeated support to the right
- The steering wheel deviates from one or two degrees to the right after each calibration
Result, I requested an exchange (fortunately the Amazon service is impeccable):
- On my second T300RS, centering is perfect, but the fan emits a shrill whistle light, which to me is a worst fault! - - When the button D-pad, it also stuck slightly after several supports to the right (this is probably a series of problem).
So in the end I kept the second wheel (including the D-Pad stuck a little less but still) with the first base (silenced with a very slight deviation).
Also note that although this is not specified, support for steering wheel is ESSENTIAL. I took it, it is ideal: Universal Pro driving simulator (single medium). Without support, the pedal is unusable; when driving alone, it can at a pinch be mounted on a table or desk ...
In conclusion, I hope that Thrustmaster will improve the finish of its products, which are not yet at the level of quality of devices manufacturers (Sony, Microsoft, Nintendo) although overall it's not bad.
