Design: First, it is because the battery compartment simply imperfect (relative to the clean and simple design of BNC008), secondly, really needs me not even look at the clock of the thick black border of Apple. (Even if it's a nice reference as Apple for its part, cites some old brown designs.)
The alarm lock slider is fiddly. For small and firm, pushing it unintentionally from the alarm position over the normal position in the o'clock position, then with two fingernails to push him back to the center. Soooooo annoying, pointless, just bad rash design ...
The plus and minus buttons react too slowly. I need nearly a minute to set the alarm time from early morning to the afternoon. I saw that already solved much better in digital alarm clocks (acceleration Long Press). The analog clock are there just still faster - because no man really thinks about the product design of the clock.
The light will remain on when no alarm setting. No further comment. I'm just 40 euros.
Alarm nervous and not rising. I mean, the clock alarm of Nokia handsets ten years ago, the better, slowly and quietly starts and increases over time ...
The alarm goes off after one minute. ??? !!! What shoud that? Hey guys, you wanted to build an alarm clock! I mean, if I need an alarm clock, then I need an alarm clock, no subtle reminder of the time of getting up, right?
The whole thing with the dark discreet display and beautiful blue lighting when you press Snooze is quite nice and well-intentioned. But to expect that I will never come a day into the bedroom and this time want to read more than one meter from the time is but, well, downright quixotic. (The product photos with white numbers are the way misleading as it only looks at perfect light.)
So I do not know. Much is quite nice at the alarm clock (aesthetics, display time, alarm time and alarm activity, combined snooze and alarm reset button). But just because of the name Brown and because of some good solutions the remaining shortcomings fall sharply in the eye and are so frustrating.
