For starters, I have to justify the two stars: This has nothing to do the Amazon.com service whose delivery was express. I have benefited from the premium to which I subscribe option at this level nothing wrong, perfectly effective service and communication on the follow-perfect delivery. Oh yes anyway, even if the packaging was Amazon nickel, product packaging was less: Cardboard torn and hard plastic to enclose product also damaged ... For a new product, I did not understand that.

Then I do not blame will do on the product quality which, in view of the many other reviews around the web, is no longer in doubt (silent, 7200 tri / min performance in the scriptures. ..) not to mention its quality / price ratio.

The reason for my two concerns two stars because:

- COMPATIBILITY MAC
I have a macbook pro (June 2012) updated with the latest version of Mac OS X (10.9.1 Version) I purchased this external HDD on the one hand for its 1TB of storage and especially for its compatibility with mac since version 10.5. The concern is that its compatibility saw, I did not have to format the drive (something I have not done because I wonder if I will not eventually return the product). Although the hard disk is recognized from direct connection to the USB I thought it would be operational. But this is not the case, it requires formatting to become MAC compatibility. Formatting exFAT format to be free from restrictions on the import of files larger than 4GB .. see ...

- BEAUTY
The second reason was purely aesthetic. I was looking forward to the idea of ​​receiving this hard drive that looks like iphone 4S with silver edges and glossy appearance (even if the "fingerprints" was included in the pack!) And my surprise was receive a matte hard drive (same appearance as the MX3 but with silver outline.

So conclusion, I receive a product that is a priori good, but not directly compatible Mac and appearance that has nothing to do with the proposed model ...
