As already played FEAR 1, FEAR Project Origin, Extraction Point and Perseus mission, I was very unhappy at first from the latest F3AR Warner Games. Had expectantly, like most expert on the FEAR series, hoping something gruslig- shocking.
But the was not so - at the beginning: shoot, shoot, umnieten everything and get out of the prison. Opponents hit dissolved immediately in smoke (well, maybe there are a "higher beings" created mercenaries), but mercifully they left their weapons are, so you could stock up its ammunition or be equipped with other weapons. But by quietly pulling up fear (Fear), as with its predecessors, I felt nothing.
To this end, disappointed, I wanted to uninstall the game actually under Section 1 because, as touted by's disturbing paranormal horror could not be any question.

Incidentally, I belong to the older generation, who do not particularly like the air swirling, torn limbs and they have not missed here.
The lack of health bar has been replaced by the red coloring to monitor in injury - therefore fueled fast in coverage, life and continue shooting from behind cover.
Opponents have only cursed at the firefights in English and given each other instructions. Unfortunately, however, was difficult to locate in the game, the direction from which they came. I, the English not speak, of course, did not understand anything. But relatively unimportant, particularly useful they have certainly not given by itself. The setting of the German subtitle display showed nothing.
(Bought 9.99 / 7.9.2012) In my version games I have noticed something peculiar in this respect:
Initially carried out instructions in the game, and the dialogues in the cutscenes in English, then German, then English again, so in constant change. Of course, carried the German subtitling.
The graphics in each section was designed in my view, quite appealing. The AI opponent was not as strohdumm, as in some other FPS games, where you had to wait just kneeling to übern the opponents 'piles' to shoot.
This refers in F3AR the well-equipped mercenaries who you actually could do only with targeted head shot - not the snarling zombies Piff Paff Puff which was enough, and they were gone.
On a more personal note to those given in various reviews short seasons between 4 ?! and 6 hours: I am thinking rather that those who wanted more or less bring her disappointment expressed. Even if one is an extremely accomplished shooter gamers to bring flawlessly and without air chasing through the levels and immediately knows the procedure for elimination of enemies and bosses, the completion of the 8 sections of the game is at this time not to create. 8-12 hours seems to me to be there much more realistic.
The Section 8 (infirmary), however, is extremely short, and the final intro somehow absurd.
Substituting times FEAR 1 to 100%, so I guess this game with a 50%.
Thus: Not bad and not good.
Although the game in my opinion, has little potential for again to play, and the game is very limited.
I found it nevertheless as a separate shooting shooter not bad = 3 stars / 3 stars.
