I own several digital cameras. Precious Compact DSLR, Minis. Due to the low price and the good equipment (Creative program, practical dial), this camera was to replace my Panasonic FS10 or be compared. The camera is actually very small, slim and very light. The receptiveness is very fast and, in principle, makes the camera even a properly processed impression. The creative programs are diverse (incl. Miniature Effect, Fish Eye etc.) and very quickly and easily adjusted. The display makes a very neat, clean impression. So why only 2 stars? The image quality is unfortunately out of the question. This camera is a typical representative of 14 MP cameras to be sold only with an indication of "great" edge data. The images are far away from my Pana FS10. Have the pictures taken in all ISO settings, a similar sharp image I did not attempt it. My 5 year old cameras do much better images. Too bad, and actually had me the big 14 MP have warned. The images are also heavily compressed (while you can do nothing). Thus, an image recorded with 14 MP 2.7 MB size small in compression. Such cameras would do much better balanced 8MP. To use possibly for children or eBay, where the battery compartment cover does not leave a particularly strong impression. So: Who sets at least a minimum standard of image quality of its images, to prefer the Panasonic DMC-FS10 buy. Costs the same, makes much better pictures with longer battery life.
