That would have been my perfect reading lamp next to the sofa. Optics is a matter of taste. The light I liked very much. I ordered the lamp on Amazon. The first flashed up briefly every 2 minutes, even though the switch was turned OFF. Can occur even once. So returned (at AMAZON really not a problem) and ordered again. In the second lamp a "tube" of the light bulb glowed weakly, even though the switch was turned OFF. Either I have bad luck or the manufacturer has its quality control is not under control. Too bad, I had to return again. Now I am going to look for another alternative and unfortunately can assign only one star.
