Good Controller with great feel - but also weaknesses ...

Where should I start? I am changed by the XBOX360 on the PS4, so I was a bit skeptical at first bezgl. Conversion (you get used to after all to the controller form).
But these went much faster by hand than I would have thought, felt in an hour, the part played, as if I had never had another - from the layout I'm really excited, in my opinion, he is the XBOX360 Controller (Controller XB1 I had not yet in hand) in every way. So if you like me in this regard are a bit skeptical, I can tell you hopefully take this skepticism - just give him a fair chance and let you respond. The shoulder buttons (L2 / R2 triggers) are now also concave or rounded, well that's the feel beneficial.

The included in the PS4 microUSB cable is clearly too short for me at least - 1.5 m in length are not the world but here you can indeed help themselves and buy more longer.

The battery life is too short, the fault also my friends PS3 owners are and also a PS4 call their own, with me it is about five to six hours - perhaps Sony wants to push the (optional) charging station something, a stronger Battery would certainly have caused no great difference in cost, also of the controller with a suggested retail price of just under 60.00 is truly not a bargain - because they really do not need to save. To be fair, but be noted that the controller is charged again quite quickly - it takes me about an hour.

The permanently active light bar (Light bar) at the bottom is easy for a ton, in some games, it changes color (ie it illuminates in serious injury to the player's red) - I play mostly in a completely dark room, the bar is placed exactly that one perceives them if at all, only as a light shine on the hand - in bright places I do not even notice that the thing's there - the (already short) battery life is certainly not the benefit. That being said, Which one of you feels constantly while gambling on the hand? In sum, the part is simply meaningless, seemingly, it is relevant to the (optional) Playstation camera, as it can so that places the player in the room - because I do not have these (like most others) is my but care less. In Internet circulates again and again the rumor that Sony could push the price of the console just by having to dispense with the camera in the original scope of delivery - the part involved may have been good also a remnant if you understand, so it seems at least to me: -) The only usable functions are well aware that one recognizes her when the controller is charging or fully charged - also you can see which player you are when you play locally with several people - but that was in my almost 20 years ago Gamer never a problem, so ...

The controller itself is not really processed well - if you tackle him a little harder, you can hear him creak ever - also "float" some buttons a bit or have too much play in the savings. In sum but still satisfying - also there are probably also some serial dispersion.

The built-in mono speaker is currently still rarely used, until now I had only in the PS Plus Game Resogun the pleasure to hear sounds from the part - here the future will tell whether it is or a useful feature a superfluous gimmick is. When touchpad situation is similar here probably Sony's first party studios as Naught Dog (Uncharted, Last of Us) will have to demonstrate what is possible with the part. In Killzone: SF controlling for example the drone so - this works out pretty well. From multi-platform titles should be in this regard but do not expect much really - in Battlefield 4 for example you open thus only the Battlelog menu.

Among those described in some other reviews ripping problem with the rubber to the sticks, I was after about 50 hours of play find anything - should be to the effect a change, I'll adjust my review accordingly.
