I had first gained me the Nero 2014 Standard version, then made a week later upgraded to Platinum.
My summary below agrees completely consistent with the Standard version, only the below-mentioned additional effects in Nero Video can be used only in the Platinum version:

The 2014er version runs smoothly in parallel with my previous 12er - version.

Direct eye drops the new start screen - finally cleared up once and intuitive and finally about really achieve anything a single entry point.
Even video tutorials have been integrated, it is worth a look purely times, I am thereby become aware of streaming, more on that later.

The new version is again much faster converting and without the computer paralyze.
I have for example a 90 min. Children's movie with Nero Recode imported and saved directly from within the program on iPad.
Under an hour coped with hardware acceleration enabled in much.

In the 2014er version there is a well hidden new tool that you like to overlook:
DVD insert, and then not clearing the Startup menu, but look closely, there is a new entry with the name:
Send to Device with Nero disc to Device
This opens a window that displays the contents of the DVD, here simply tick the desired content, select the target device, and you're done.

In Nero Video many new effects seem to be added. So I will occupy myself time to a quiet evening.
Especially the saving effects of internally generated movie sounds promising.
So far, it has cost a lot of time when you had to mess around come back to the same settings for each project (especially text effects, volume, etc.)
My old video projects that I had created with Nero 12 are easily opened from the 2014 version he. That was in the past not always been so, so a plus at this point.

About Nero Burning ROM you need nothing to say, the subjects was burning and Nero is always unchallenged, with the many expert settings.

Nero MediaHome is the old NeroKwik in new robes.
Special mention deserves in my opinion the child-light streaming function. Simply enable the media server options (checkmark), click the bottom right on the TV icon, displayed my Samsung TV Select, and you're done. The cumbersome burn movies and slide shows on blanks followed by placing the player in the living room thus omitted entirely.

In summary, Nero 2014 Platinum a round thing for everyday use is absolutely everything is what your heart desires, I would highly recommend it.
