One suspects always strange when a successful album is continued. Either attempts to less good music under the well-known names on the handset or it really is a development and continuation of the music. When the album "Oxygene 7-13" sounds on these points excited the first title. Jarre has, as usual numbered the title only in parts and no separate titling. The spirit of Oxygene continues almost 12 minutes here in a beautiful epic, sequenzerhaftigen sound with accompanying rhythm. The second piece, part 8 is the one that went through all the radio stations, the single from the album. Again, it is a piece full of the finest music Jarre, slightly souped up with a more modern drum machine, but somewhere must come out, too, that the album was recorded 21 years later. After these two bangers at the beginning of the rest must indeed fall you think, but that's not the case, Part 3 is a wonderful soundscape that Jarre has always been so woven into its title. And so it goes on, great music, a real continuation of the album of 1976. Unfortunately, the album is only 41 minutes long, with this kind of music he would have liked to be able to fill more, but that's really the only flaw.
