Now for the details:
Packaging: A fairly easy "Load Package", actually not necessarily suitable for shipping. However, I was lucky: When unpacking first came the thin gig bag to the fore, then a foam mat in which the guitar was wrapped. With me was (unlike other reviewers) everything off, all of the above components (Tuning Machines, potentiometer knobs, strap pins) were absolutely fine.
Facilities: This instrument is strung, delivered with gig bag and a (albeit relatively short) cable. The electrical system consists of two humbuckers, which are guided via a passive circuit for output. Both buyers are separated can be controlled in volume and treble. The toggle switch allows both pickups separately or together to make audible. Last but not least is provided for adjustment of the neck an Allen key.
Optics and craftsmanship: Of course, one must not be too demanding at an absolute bargain price of 119, which the workmanship is concerned, but overall makes the instrument a good impression: Everything is processed fairly decent, only three minor flaws are noticed: glue residue around some societies (these residues can be easily removed but), then the plastic strip, which enclose the head and the F-holes are not fitted super-clean for difficult contours. Besides, it is quite a nice instrument, only the F-holes are a bit wide for my taste, and in comparison with the original, but also is already visible on the product images.
Tunability and Sound: The sound is audible (design) a bit thin, so I tried the instrument directly on the amplifier. The first vote went well, only the intonation of the low E string does not fit all. This could be corrected, but it is not ideal, because I have ran again. The raising higher quality strings brought this an improvement. The instrument is generally quite in tune, but again, the low E string made me a little trouble finding the mechanism here is somewhat loose, but that is unrecoverable. The amplified sound of the guitar is good, so far I was able to him by the new strings, and slight adjustments to the height of the bridge and pickups get even more, but there is still potential by fine tuning available.
Price: For real narrow money a pretty decent instrument. True to the motto: As you can almost not go wrong
Conclusion: Since I myself am a relative beginner and not just "rumklimpern" wants, but also some would like to learn about the structure, mechanical and electrical systems of semi-acoustic guitar something that presented instrument is actually ideal, because the fairly decent execution gets motivation and the low price also allows the instrument to "experiment", ie really setting the mechanics themselves make what the learning effect increases. A "real" Gibson I would probably contribute more to luthiers :-)
