Fascinated by history, I read the historical crime novel Rabel Nicolas "liberation" in just under 72 hours, as the story, action, characters and heroin "Odette" are exciting. This is a police investigation into the murder of an elderly man in a retirement home of Morbihan, the convent St. Cecilia. The outcome of the case goes through a time of upheaval, that of the years of the German occupation during the Second World War. Odette simply resists, suffered the worst tortures ... Released, it takes strength and this time commitment is up to full participation in the assassination of a prominent collaborator and steal the plans for the destruction of Paris, thought Hitler before the capital is released by the allies. One downside, his love for soldier of the Reich which makes him a hundredfold ... Then the humiliation and disgrace that afflict before it takes revenge for its lost freedom. Exceptional novel that perfectly blends the events in Paris on the eve of the release and the investigation by a commissioner, confidant of Lancelot (combat name of Odette).
