I have the drive, router and my Mac directly connected via a LAN cable and try now upload single large data and many very small data thereon. The whole process takes ages. Reminiscent of USB 1 or better the previous front - before.
So screw Slowly I have not imagined.
Since helping the two USB3 sockets on the back and a directly connected thereto USB 3 Seagate Backup Plus hard drive (PC formatted) or connected thereto Arrow faster USB 3 Extreme Stick of SanDisc nix. Which were simply not recognized correctly.
To 1TB to shovel the 6TB RAID you'd need probably 1-2 months!
Since me the user interface of My Cloud EX2 has positively addressed and otherwise the design and specifications, I decided. Weiss now but also, a real usable server for large image collections will cost far more and is determined by another manufacturer.
Now already the 2nd clear disappointment of WD.
Somehow thinks Western Digital their products not entirely by what is clearly apparent even with the WD My Passport 2 Pro / 4TB Raid Thunderbolt plate.
I can only advise against it.
Chic case is not warm, apparently consumes little power but unfortunately does not fulfill the purpose for which you need a large raid.
