Series without Spirit

In my opinion, the series lacks any soul. It is constructed through to the last detail, which unfortunately also merkt.Sicher, also this series has its moments, where you can smile ... but nothing more. The characters seem bloodless and uninspired, the story is too exaggerated to be credible, but not exaggerated enough to be a good parody.

In good sitcoms you feel somehow connected with the characters, they solve emotions in us. That's what I miss most here. Have tormented me bravely through several episodes because I was hoping it gets better - but nil.

The intention to make a series with exactly this in mind, is already understood - what is currently trendy and hip? Nerds, startup companies, social networks, trendy Apps, borderline sexual fantasies ... all wrapped up in a sterile look and provided with a snappy, but wide suitable soundtrack. The aim is to clearly reach young adults pseudo-intellectual middle and upper class in all its superficiality.

"Betas" leaves me completely cold. There are plenty of other series that can inspire me to happiness. Frankly, I can understand all the positive reviews at all. But well, to each his own ... that mean it is not!
