The Mantona is nearly identical to the size of mim Flipside 300, only the two backpacks distinguished on the order day (15/04/2011) to 25 euros. Furthermore, the Mantona performance recommendation was in color photo as price / priced. This was sometimes a selling point.
In terms of functionality the Mantonta is Lowepro Flipside 300 after in every way. The inside is spacious and the shelves are optimally matched to your needs, as there is on the side walls enough Velcro to attach the interior walls. The Mantona has a good waist belt, but the straps are a little long failed (probably designed for very thick Americans; as I have personally created with scissors Hand).
The side pockets can accommodate a large drink bottle and small things like Speicherakarte, remote purse. Inside there is a removable small pocket in which lightning has space.
In my opinion, provides the Mantona addition to Flipside an integrated rain cover, which is sewn and can be taken out of the pocket in which there is the belt for the tripod. However, the securing of the stand is then no longer possible. Alternatively, the rain cover (when the backpack is left) strung across the back of the backpack so that the site stays dry. The tripod depends but then the rain, should be no problem with quality parts, but due to good surface treatment.
CONCLUSION:
+++ For this pack of TopPrice with the same / better performance speaks Lowepro Flipside compared to 300 (here you pay probably more for the company name). He is an insider tip. The cheap price here says nothing about bad quality, but photographers buy quite like an expensive, since one expects better, may be true for lenses, but not for this pack. Therefore 5 of 5 stars
