Disappointing, too easy, just good looks, warm

After the good reviews by previous speakers I have these shoes in Europ. 47 ordered. It is noticeable that they are more of a real 46, so quite short and the front is not wide enough for a 47er. Look far as very good, plush lining (100% polyester) fluffy and warm.

Now the glaring drawbacks
- Far too soft, elastic rubber sole airline which is no maintenance; can be deformed even point a finger / depressed!
- Leather rather thin quality, thus lateral support insufficient
- Made in Vietnam (really should be mentioned in the product description)
- Indicated welted, but not really - just rubber dummy
- Far too easy

Who here (like many others of Dockers) expects robust, heavy gauge, is bitterly disappointed. Too bad, for something like this I would have willingly paid twice.

Useful only for ordinary seamen in light city terrain.
