Incredibly strong rock album

Double Vision (Expanded & Remastered) (Audio CD)

Customer Review

For me, the best Double Vision Foreigner album and one of the best rock albums of the late 70s / early 80s. It is more mature than the debut album, but not yet aligned so commercially and on hits like the later albums.
Hard guitar riffs, a distinctive rock voice (Lou Gramm) and rock synthesizers (no "organ" as Deep Purple). The repertoire very varied - from rocking "Hot Blooded" to the melting delicate (but never kitschy) ballad "You're all I am." But between these extremes many songs that are both rock and melodic like "Love has taken its toll." Absolutely brilliant, the instrumental song "Tramontane".

CONCLUSION: It was still rock music - it can now only dream about. But luckily there's so CDs ...
