I discovered Michel Barral with his first novel "our nights without stars" and I must say that the title of the second book I was immediately attracted. This is such an amazing diary, a skin-deep emotion that we had already seen in "our nights without stars" but is further exacerbated. This is often confusing (in the good sense) and the last two chapters include an incredible emotional violence. Finally, Michel Barral confirms that he is a great writer with a style and a vision of life totally original. And it is a demanding reader who wrote!
