Value winner of the heart

That's probably my first real review on a product at Amazon. But on this notebook I just have to write something.
I have to say that I played for a year with the idea to replace my now 8 year old laptop. And in the VN7-571G-55ZA finally looked full of value for my wishes.
So I have the device now for about 6 weeks and am really excited. I must say though that I have to the notebook also still the same one m.2 SSD have found me with 240GB of Kingston and these now use as a boot disk for the operating system.
So now to the device itself:
+ The design is very appealing to my taste. The slightly ridged lid touches his very valuable. The interior, bottom and the display bezel are kept in a matt plastic, which feels even dibasic.
- This matt finish is also simultaneously a negative point as it magically attracts fingerprints and thus quickly looks greasy.
+ The rear edge, which is home to the very stable acting hinges, reminiscent of brushed metal, but is made of plastic.
+ What I also noticed positive that simply remove the DVD drive by loosening a screw or replace can.
- I As mentioned in a m.2 SSD equal allowed myself to. To install these, however, the entire notebook must be disassembled. Say the just solve a dozen screws on the bottom and then loosen the keyboard side, which is locked with a number of small ticks, from the bottom. Before pull out the drive. The keyboard is connected to three ribbon cables with the main board, they must be solved carefully. Then the keyboard is detachable and has uninterrupted views of the heart of the notebook. In this state, the 1TB HDD can change, as well as the WLAN module. To replace the SSD m.2 or even expand the memory the whole motherboard has to be removed. Those who are not so skilled with electronics should rather let make ;-) There is also this one or another video on Youtube. But as described not as easy as a service door, therefore a negative point.
+ The equipment with 3 USB 3.0 port, HDMI and SD card reader lets mM to also nothing to be desired.
+ The speakers are installed in the notebook I have to praise really. They are probably the best fülligsten and which I have ever heard in a notebook. Of course, due to physical limitations with some little bass, but otherwise top.
+ On the Windows 8.1 system can get used quickly as former XP users. Especially the fact that you can adjust the Acer Control Center that the computer will start immediately on your desktop.
- All the additional software that Acer has installed, is a bit too much, can be yes but anytime uninstall.
Conclusion: So all in all the negative points whining at a high level. And I am very satisfied with the purchase and not hesitate to recommend the Acer VN7. The upgrade with an SSD is however recommended, because the boot process is thus completed in 8 seconds :-)
